This item is an Arette 1A 35mm camera made by Apparatebau & kamerabau of Germany in 1957. (This is the later version with the bright-frame viewfinder).

Everything from explanations of concepts such as ‘rule of thirds’ and ‘depth of field’ to how pinhole cameras work (and how to make one). A tremendous mix.
